Did this for the "colonize the moon" contest by :iconzwordarts: [link] .
Thanks to all the people who gave me input on this, it helped me a lot (as I hope you'll be able to see).
It's really late and I'm tired so lets do this fast:
The moon is a photo by *nycko (well, originally anyway), so mad props to him on that.
The Earth map is from HERE
everything else is just me. My tablet drivers don't seem to want to cooperate, so I only had the mouse on this one.
Advanced crit, if you feel like it, but Any kind of comment or fave or show of liking it of any kind is good.
B'bye.

Oh oops... The story:
Mankind has fled to a terraformed moon after finally depleting Earth of all of its resources and polluting the crap out of it.
WALL-E?
Never heard of it...

EDIT: Clouds. Oops.
EDIT: Argh sorry, I decided the clouds obscure the planet's surface too much. While this is more realistic, it also obscures the message if you can't tell that its the Earth ;p
Sigh... EDIT: Ok less cloud, I'm sorry again...

This is really well done, and the whole idea behind it is amazing.

Don't be sorry for changing things. You're the artist here, and it's up to you to decide what's best for the picture. We are our own biggest critics, so it's only natural to want to switch things/ideas even after it's published. And besides, it shows you're dedicated to your work :)
