So named because I was leaving for college when I made it, and I finished it here. The internet filters here are a little ridiculous, so I won't be on as often as I'd like to be.
This is my first attempt at painting a galaxy in a long time... It's not the best galaxy ever, but I like it. Next time will be better I guess, ey?

The planets are amazing and I like the details like the star cluster and galaxy off to the right.

I first make a texture out of random other textures, then I color it and make atmosphere, cloud, and shadow layers. Sounds simple I guess, but it takes a lot of practice.

how do you do the atmosphere ?
would be nice if you can make a lil tutorial maybe just a text tutorial with some pics to show what you've done...

There are plenty of tutorials on planets out there, you can search for them on google or even on this site.

Well the green planet is fantastic, it along with its Moon look very nice. As for the galaxy, yeah they can be hard to do, maybe next time make the edges fade into the empty space a bit smoother as it kinda looks solid here.

It seems that the small planet on its own is half broken, I can see stars through where the dark side of the planet should be...Unless those are city lights?
